Meditations

What we allow into our mind determines what will come out of us the rest of our day. This is because our words and action come from the thoughts in our mind. Jesus said the mouth speaks what is in the heart (Matthew 12:34). God instructs us in Proverbs 4:23 to be careful how we think, for our life is shaped by our thoughts.

Therefore, it is good for us to start, continue, and end our day by meditating and thinking on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and worthy of our attention and focus. (Philippians 4:8)

So how do we know what to think about and where do we find these thoughts we are to meditate on throughout the day? The only way any kind words and good deeds can come out of us is if we consistently practice meditating on God’s truths in his instruction manual called the Bible.

As we persist in meditating on God’s words daily, we will come to know God more each day and our connection with Him will be stronger and sweeter 🤗.
