Praying

Praying is how we communicate with God, our Maker. Simply put, praying is talking to God about the things on our mind and heart. There is no wrong or right way to pray. Praying is both a tool and a weapon from God to help us grow our dependence on Him and to fight against the attacks of our enemy, the devil.

Praying is the privilege we have to come to God about anything and everything. My hope is to share prayers which will help you begin a prayerful life if you don’t have one already and to help you find ways to pray when life is hard, and you can’t find the words to express to God about how you feel and what you need from him.

Because God bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath. — Psalm 116:2

I prayed to the Lord and He answered me – Psalm 34:4

Pray without ceasing. — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

Philippians 4:6-7
